The Mix-Greensboro, NC

The Mix is a brand new club in Greensboro opened by an old friend Matthew Medaloni. He owned and sold N Club and Much in Greensboro before opening this one. I knew him from many years ago when I worked for Red Bull, and he called us when he heard we did the Solas install. As a DJ and club owner, Matthew knows exactly what he wants his place to sound and look like, and I’ll have to say, he pulled off a great looking spot.

The all-white dance room is loaded with JBL VRX cabinets powered with QSC PLX amps with serpentine truss across the ceiling by Global Truss. The lighting is by Martin and the MAC moving head lights he chose are so awesome. The Lightjockey software runs all of the Macs. One of the coolest things he has is one of those nitrogen coolers that shoot out of the ceiling and chill the room!

Another awesome element of the club/restaurant is the outside part where there is a giant patio with another massive sound system. When it warms up again, this is going to be the place to party! The next time you are in The Triad, you will want to stop in The Mix and get some food and then stick around for late night dancing.
