Tantra Ultralounge, formerly The Office Nightclub, underwent a complete makeover in 2010 including new sound and lighting by us.

The owners of Tantra (formerly The Office) were ready for a change. Everything from the name of the place to the equipment inside, so they called Eclipse.

On the patio side, we went in and moved the existing speakers to better locations, gave them more amplifiers, replaced subs, and tuned the system to perfection. As for lighting, we used an affordable but effective fixture called the Martin SCX500 to give the room the feel that it needed. The lights were installed by Kris Gulya and programmed using the Martin Freekie controller.

Next, we moved into the “main” dance room where their existing EV system is. It sounded ok, but definitely needed the new dbx driverack PA+ processor and some serious tuning by Kris to get it back into shape. We also took down some ancient and filthy trackspot lights in order to make way for more Martin SCX500’s on their already existing circular truss. Again, these were the perfect lights for this room. If you haven’t been to Tantra yet, be prepared to be blown away, it looks nothing like the old “Office”!
